 I'm in the middle of my cursus in lignes & formations and there are more and more project. Contines, like 'the Lady Tartine', fairytales, classic tales and other stories are proposed by the school. I think that the diversity of stories is very intersting but not so easy!

Dear readers! I'm back! :)

I had some problems with my internet connection... Sometimes computer are really complicated! But during this time, I worked a lot...

This is a professional project I made for school: two pictures on the same theme of hedgedhods. I love these little animals!! One of them (the first!) is a game page and the other a board that shows a naturalist article.

Here is the first painting of a long series (I hope!) The themes are energy and plants and flowers. I like to show the energy of trees and plants, I like to fell the sap Under the bark and Watch the trees trunks climb up to heaven to search of light.

These énergies are colors, I like to talk about these sensibles worlds with my watercolors.

Research and sketches illustrating 'The love Shoes', one of the tales of the Boca street, written by Pierre Gripari

Last week, I started a new illustration work for the school. I chose a tale written by Pierre Gripari, a very talented storyteller! All his stories are filled with humor and playfulness, with a lot of sensitivity and refinement.

Two love shoes that are sad not to see the day as walking one after a other. One step after another... Poor shoes!

My painting are done in watercolors, they specify some ideas... The rest will come quietly, I hope! Not easy to illustrate love, sadness other separation... But so exciting! :)

New painting in my moleskine!

Here is a double page of my moleskine sketchbook, landscape format, made with mix media: ink, pastels, watercolors and acrylics... It's about plant diversity and nomad seeds...
I really enjoyed working on this large format, I find it more expressive! 

And I have a new scanner :). That's a really good thing!

My last Work : image for Youth Press with hippos! :)

Hi everybody! 

Here is my latest work for the school: a board to illustrate a press page for childrens. The subject is a little hippo and his mom! Childrens can look at the picture with their parents and learn to name different objects... and look where is the blanket of little hippo!

There are boards research figures, the final sketch and the color illustration, realised with watercolors. 

Work in progress....

Actually I'm using mix media: watercolors and pastels, other watercolors and rotrings pens, sometimes pastels-watercolors and acrilyc, with my fingers, with brushes... I'm using a lot of plants and flowers for inspiration and for collages other impressions... 

They are so many possibilities! And explore is a beautiful thing, very playful!

A small quote from Vincent Van Gogh, wath I think very interesting (And I'm sorry this is only in French... :)) :

'Il faut commencer par éprouver ce qu'on veut exprimer'.

Ces jours je travaille à un exercice de réalisation d'une couverture pour un roman jeunesse.

Voici une partie du rabat de la couverture. C'est un roman sur le journal personnel d'une jeune sorcière en 1600. Du coup je crée la couverture et surtout le rabat comme une page de son carnet à elle, ou se mêle des souvenirs, des notes, des plantes collées entre les pages. 

Voilà!
